We’re not 22-year-olds living out of a backpack. Not trust fund kids. Not F.I.R.E. movement disciples who planned this for 15 years. We didn’t win the lottery or sell a company and call it a leap. We’re just two people who worked hard for 25 years, saved our money, made mostly smart investments — and decided to actually use it while we’re still healthy enough to hike the mountain and sleep on the bad beds.
