World Bank Cuts 2022 Global Growth Outlook
Carmen Reinhart, senior vice president and chief economist at the World Bank, explains why the development lender cut its forecast for global economic growth. The Washington-based institution now expects the global economy to grow 3.2% in 2022 compared to its January prediction of 4.1%.
