Wealth Management Has Never Been Just About Investing(I)
Over the past few years, I've had conversations with many investors who have managed their own portfolios for years. What struck me wasn't a lack of knowledge. Most of them follow the markets closely. They read financial news every day. They understand ETFs, stocks, interest rates, and even tax strategies. Yet many still ask the same questions: "Should I buy now?" "Am I taking too much risk?" "Should I sell?" "How much cash should I keep?" "Why do I still feel uncertain?" Over time, I've come to realize something important: For many people, the real problem isn't investment knowledge. The real problem is that they're trying to solve wealth management challenges with investment decisions. Investment is essential. But investment alone cannot answer questions about cash flow, taxes, retirement income, risk management, estate planning, or long-term family goals. Perhaps that's why some of the smartest investors still experience anxiety. Not because they don't understand the market. But because they are trying to solve the wrong problem. In this video, I explore why self-directed investors often continue to feel uncertain—even after years of investing—and what may be missing from the picture. I hope it offers a different perspective for anyone to build long-term family wealth. I'd love to hear your thoughts after you watch it.
