5 Money Milestones I will Care about if I was Restarting my Financial Freedom Journey Today
👇Looking rich and being financially secure are two very different things. If I were measuring financial progress, these are the milestones I’d be paying attention to: 1) $0 in credit-card debt: Not sending a chunk of every future paycheque toward yesterday’s spending. 2) 3–6 months of expenses saved: Because sometimes the biggest financial flex is being able to deal with a problem without immediately reaching for debt. 3) Your first $10K invested: Not because $10K magically changes your life, but because you’ve actually started building an asset instead of just planning to. 4) Your first $100K invested This is where the numbers start getting interesting. At a hypothetical 7% return, $100K could generate about $7,000 of growth in a year without another dollar being contributed. Returns aren’t guaranteed, of course. 5) Work becoming optional The milestone I’d care about most. Not necessarily never working again but having enough financial breathing room that a paycheque doesn’t have to make every decision for you.
