Should i use ETFs or should I go with direct share investing? #wealthcreation #MoneyTips
One of the most common questions asked is "should i use ETFs or should I go with direct share investing?" and most of the time it really is a personal preference thing. If you know you're not someone who's going to dedicate hours of research trying to stock select businesses and build your own portfolio, that's when ETFs are that easy option. You can get either passive or active ETFs. Passive is when it just tracks the index, so it might be the ASX200. Active is when you pay a fund manager to do that stock selection for you so you still are investing in businesses that hopefully align with you but you're not doing that hard work behind the scenes to actually select them yourself. So different options for you none of them are wrong and they all are better than sitting in cash and doing nothing General advice only.
