Why I stopped saving to retire early

i spent so many years thinking that if I just hit the next career milestone or saved a specific amount of money, i’d finally feel safe enough to relax and enjoy my life. but I realized i was just trading my current health and happiness for some distant point in the future. now i’m on a very different journey of figuring out how to build a daily life i don’t actually want to escape from, even if it means making less and saving less right now. #moneymindset
