Justin Yifu Lin: China remains to be global growth driver
A leading Chinese economist says China will continue to be a main driver of global economic growth in 2016 and onwards. He cited the country's sufficient investment opportunities and internal resources as one of the main reasons. Justin Yifu Lin, former Chief Economist at the World Bank, made the prediction in Moscow while attending a press conference on the eve of Gaidar economic forum on Tuesday.

Justin Yifu Lin (Chinese: 林毅夫; pinyin: Lín Yìfū; born 15 October 1952) is a Chinese economist and professor of economics at Peking University. He served as the chief economist of the World Bank from 2008 to 2012, and was also the World Bank's senior vice president during that time. He has served as a State Council Counsellor of China since September 2013.
