This video introduces the most recent book I’ve completed in my Global Economics Learning Project: Our Dollar, Your Problem by Kenneth Rogoff. Rogoff, a former chief economist at the International Monetary Fund, approaches the dollar-based global payment system from a more technical, institutional perspective — not through equations, but through economic structure, incentives, and history. The book’s title comes from a remark made by John Connally during the collapse of the Bretton Woods system, a moment that still shapes today’s international monetary order. This video serves as an introduction.
