Oleksiy Vitaliyovych Plotnikov (Ukrainian: Олексій Віталійович Плотніков [oˈlɛksʲij plotˈnʲikof]; born 10 June 1965) is a Ukrainian economist and politician. He obtained his doctorate in economics in 1994, and became a professor in 1998. He subsequently became a People's Deputy of Ukraine (Member of the Parliament of Ukraine) of the 5th and 6th convocations (2006-2012), and participated in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination from 2010 to 2013.
