Options expiration day doesn't have to be stressful. In this week's $1M Portfolio update, I show how I manage four ETF positions using the same investing philosophy with very different trades. Instead of trying to predict where the market is headed next, I respond to what each position is telling me. In this video: • GLD: Rolled two in-the-money cash-secured puts down and out while preserving the profits already earned. My goal is to keep GLD close to its target allocation without taking on more shares than I want. • QQQ: Everything expired comfortably out of the money, so I sold a new cash-secured put and two covered calls, then used the premium to buy more shares. • SPY: My aspirational covered call roll filled while I wasn't even watching. I rolled the calls back out of the money, sold another cash-secured put, and added more shares. • VIG: The most challenging position today.
