My Plan to Retire Early (Currently 27)
If you've ever dreamed of retiring early, this video is for you. In this video, I walk through my actual plan to achieve financial freedom and retire early. I'm 27 years old with an investment portfolio of over $350,000, but I still believe I'm in the wealth accumulation phase of my life. Instead of chasing unrealistic shortcuts, I'm focused on building a plan that gives me flexibility, multiple sources of income, and the freedom to choose how I spend my time. I'll explain why I'm shifting more of my investments toward a taxable brokerage account, why increasing your income is one of the highest-return investments you can make in your 20s, how I'm building multiple income streams outside of my engineering career, and why I don't plan on keeping 100% of my wealth invested in the stock market forever. My goal isn't just to build a large investment portfolio; it's to build a financial life that's resilient enough to weather market crashes, career changes, and whatever else life throws my way. If you're also pursuing financial independence or early retirement, I'd love to hear your strategy. Leave a comment below and let me know what you're doing to prepare for it.
