Amazon or Celsius — which consumer stock is the better buy right now? In this video, we break down a massive stock market debate between a tech-backed retail giant and a high-growth energy drink disruptor to see which belongs in your portfolio. We analyze Amazon (AMZN stock), the unstoppable e-commerce and cloud giant that pulled in nearly $717 billion in revenue last year, up 12%. With net profits hitting almost $78 billion, improving profit margins, and AWS cloud computing alongside AI infrastructure driving serious power, Amazon just delivered another blowout earnings quarter. On the flip side, we look at Celsius Holdings (CELH stock), the high-growth fitness energy drink brand competing with Rockstar and Alani Nu. While Celsius revenue jumped 85% to $2.5 billion, the core Celsius brand is currently struggling. Sales dropped sharply last quarter, earnings missed Wall Street expectations, and Celsius management doesn't expect a real recovery until later this year. We also discuss their risky distribution reliance on PepsiCo, which accounts for over 43% of sales, leading to lower margins and short-term stock uncertainty. While the CELH valuation looks cheaper on paper, Motley Fool stock analysis clearly favors Amazon. Amazon's massive scale, consistent profitability, and AI growth simply win over the current business challenges at Celsius. Would you buy the stable retail giant or the high-risk energy drink growth story? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
