Webinar on Financial Planning & Investing,Avinash Luthria, PGP 2002 on 16-11-2018

2000s2002youtube

Nobel Prize-winning economist, William Sharpe (after whom the Sharpe Ratio is named), refers to Retirement Planning and investing for it as, “the nastiest, hardest problem in finance”. Hence, the focus of the Financial Planning section of the webinar is on Retirement Planning. The section on Investing is about bigger picture aspects (i.e. it does not go into details) and it is targeted at conservative investors. The webinar is targeted at individuals who have at least a moderate understanding of finance and investing, and are familiar with the jargon. To maximize the breadth of topics being covered, the webinar will not justify most of the presenter’s views, but will instead point to articles that cover those particular topics in more detail.
