This summer, Heather Boushey (Economics ‘98) was appointed Chief Economist by the Clinton Campaign. In the past, she served as a senior economist with the United States Congress Joint Economic Committee, the Center for Economic and Policy Research, and the Economic Policy Institute. She also has testified before the U.S. Congress and authored numerous reports and commentaries on issues affecting working families, including the implications of the 1996 welfare reform. She is the author of Finding Time: The Economics of Work-Life Conflict, which was released this year.
