Is it really TRUE that ORDERFLOW trading cannot be AUTOMATED?
Most retail traders are told that orderflow strategies can't be automated. That's wrong. Here is how to actually do it. Orderflow is data. Data can be coded. Code can be automated. In this video I take volume delta, one of the most common orderflow concepts, and walk through the full workflow end to end: how to read it, how to spot a delta dislocation (where the real edge shows up), how to translate the rules into MultiCharts code, how to backtest the strategy across 6 years of NQ futures data, and the proper way to validate the result without overfitting yourself into oblivion. By the end you'll have a simple, complete, mechanical, rule-based orderflow strategy you can use as a starting point. Tools used: • TradingView for orderflow visualization • MultiCharts for the coding, backtest and automation About me: 7 years as a market maker for a large investment bank, where I generated over €30M in trading PnL. Today I run my own hedge fund and automate every strategy I trade. This channel exists to push retail trading education past the surface-level content most of you have been fed online. If this was useful, follow the channel and drop a word in the comments. That's all the algorithm needs, and there's much more coming.
